Just wanted to give another update... Last week we received a phone call from the Army, and Dwight's orders have been revoked. We have spent the last month gearing up for the deployment, and we were both completely at peace about it. We were even looking forward to a few things!
Now we are back where we were in March....knowing that we need to make a decision for what we'll do after September. Please pray for us.
Thank you for all of the encouragement and prayers! We're still just hanging on for the ride...trusting that God is in control.
Praise God! I didn't even know that deployment orders could be revoked, so I'm amazed! So thankful for both of you and all that you're doing there! There is a big sigh of relief coming from home, that's for sure! Whoo hoo!!!

ReplyDeleteI know this means that you now have tough decisions ahead, but God will guide you in them. Like the other commenters I am saying Gloria a Dios! We were so looking forward to seeing both of you and especially to have our brother work with Dwight at the construction site.

It sure would have been great if he could have deployed with me and passed on all that vast commo knowledge he had before we parted ways. It looks like you guys are doing great things down there and i hope the best for you both and every one with you. Make sure and tell Dwight it looks like hes growing a belly since last i seen him.
